Data Skrive’s Content Automation Platform Enables Athletic Department To Meet Tight Deadlines Following Basketball, Softball And Baseball Events

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University announced today that it has partnered with Data Skrive to leverage the tech company’s content automation technology to provide Aggies’ fans with comprehensive game recaps. By automating postgame wrap-ups, university media members have more time to focus on player and coach interviews, videos, social media engagement and additional added-value pieces.

Starting this fall with women’s and men’s basketball — and continuing through the spring with softball and baseball — Data Skrive will ease the burden of post-game activities with a platform capable of producing unique content in NC A&T’s tone and style within minutes of the final whistle or inning.

“Data Skrive understands the unique challenges our media team faces following sporting events,” said Brian Holloway, Associate Athletics Director/Communications at North Carolina A&T. “With a dizzying array of tasks to accomplish before and after every game, and not always enough time to make it happen instantaneously, automating postgame summaries helps the entire athletic department.”

“We’ve spent the last few years developing content around the HBCU’s, FCS and other under-covered leagues,” said Brad Weitz, Data Skrive CEO. “It’s satisfying to know we’re helping alleviate the strain on the athletic department while also providing Aggie Nation with engaging content.”

The North Carolina A&T-Data Skrive union also provides a bridge when staff members are not only tied up with critical activities but also when they are on leave, under the weather or are undergoing training when a previous employee departs. By filling any voids the university might unexpectedly face, postgame analysis and recaps continue to satisfy Aggies’ sports fanatics via multi-formats (long- and short-form text, infographics, and animation) and multi-channels (print, online, search, social and email).
