UC Davis Athletics strives to provide the very best experience for members of its 23 athletic programs, athletic staff, and thousands of fans across the country. The athletic department’s staff is lean with more sports to cover than available resources. Under-coverage leads to loss of sponsorship, recruiting success, and donor revenue.

The Data Skrive Solution

Data Skrive worked with the athletic department to create previews and recaps of Olympic sports with a specific focus on the individual student-athletes. This content is used by coaches to recruit, the sports information director to promote teams, and the athletic directors to solicit support from alumni.

The Results

UC Davis has improved coverage-equity across sports by automating content. The breadth of coverage translates to better engagement from a wider cross section of fans and supporters. Furthermore, by automating many of the mundane parts of content creation the media team can better focus on features, interviews, and social media.
